The president of the Cluster Saúde de Galicia, CSG, Rocío Mosquera Álvarez, has been incorporated into the new Advisory Committee of the Círculo de la Sanidad, a recently created body that will bring together leading professionals in the health sector with the aim of contributing knowledge, strategic vision and impetus to the debate on the main challenges facing the sector.
The main functions of the Advisory Committee will be to advise on scientific content for the International Health Circle Conference, as well as to organise debates, meetings and round tables that promote collective reflection on the present and future challenges of the health system.
This multidisciplinary team is made up of prominent profiles from the field of health management and policy such as Luis Rosado Bretón (chairman of the committee and former Minister of Health of the Valencian Community), Boi Ruiz García (former Minister of Health of Catalonia), Margarita Alfonsel (former Secretary General of FENIN), Antonio Martos López (Global Health Director at Indra) and Tomás Ruiz (former Director General of the Electromedicine Business Group), Antonio Martos López (Global Director of Healthcare at Indra) and Tomás Ruiz (former General Manager of the Electromedicine Business Group), together with Rocío Mosquera Álvarez, who brings her experience as former Regional Minister of Health of the Xunta de Galicia and current Director of the Clúster Saúde de Galicia.
The creation of this committee is part of the new Strategic Plan 2025-2027 of the Círculo de la Sanidad, which includes 22 measures aimed at improving sustainability, efficiency, social responsibility and innovation in the healthcare system, promoting real collaboration between administrations, companies, professionals and patients.
The CSG welcomes this designation as a recognition of Rocío Mosquera’s career and the work of the Galician healthcare ecosystem, which thus strengthens its presence in the main spaces of decision making and analysis of the health sector at a national level.
