We begin the LEX Japan with a visit to iPark

We have started the LEX Japan! On this first day we visited iPark, where a networking event was also held with international delegations from 6 countries.

During the visit, there was first an introduction and presentation of iPark, and then we took a tour of its facilities, visiting the stands in Spain, Australia, China, Taiwan, Korea and the United States. In these stands, a fun dynamic was held due to the proximity to Halloween, in which sweets from different countries were exchanged.

iPark opened in 2018, and is the first big pharma-run science park in Japan. More than 150 companies/institutions are part of its ecosystem.

We are really excited to continue in this LEX Japan!

CSG in the presentation of the SERGAS Circular Economy Strategy

The Galician Health Cluster (CSG) attended yesterday the presentation event of the Circular Economy Strategy of the Galician Health Service.

In order to confront the climate crisis, SERGAS has created this Circular Economy Strategy with which it aims to mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change by implementing measures that reduce the environmental impacts of the Galician health sector and make it more sustainable.

At CSG, we share our firm commitment to sustainability and the preservation of the environment. We believe that the circular economy is key to a more sustainable and healthy future.

We would like to thank SERGAS and our partner Galaria for leading this initiative and for inviting us to be part of this important event.

Visit to the Red Cross facilities

On June 28, 2023, the Galician Health Cluster, CSG, represented by the Managing Director Gisela Garcia-Alvarez and accompanied by the collaborator Alvaro Campos from PM4.GOV, visited the Red Cross facilities in A Coruña.

The objective of the visit was to present the EU4CARE5.0 proposal led by the Ministry of Social Policy in collaboration with CSG and focused on the development of a strategy for new care models based on technology that can be scaled to other European countries. The Red Cross innovation team, made up of Trinidad De Lorenzo, Rebeca Vazquez and Marcos Gómez Paz at the lead, was enthusiastic about being part of the project as a partner, so we are encouraged to continue working on the draft of the project that will be presented mid September 2023.
