Coinciding with the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the goal of this gathering jointly organised with the Catalan ecosystem led by AQuAS was to bring together the community of Spanish members and ecosystems to network between each other and learn best practices.

The Galician Health Cluster participated in the Ecosystems presentation and the debate panel “How to go international?”, with CSG’s Managing Director, Gisela García-Álvarez, taking part in both.

The event, moderated by ECHAlliance’s Andy Bleaden, Inés Luján and Iman Amar, started with the launch of the Spanish Presidency Connector featuring the community in Spain by ECHAlliance’s Adriana Díaz. You can take a look at the document here.

The first section of the gathering focused on the Spanish ECHAlliance ecosystems with presentations from:

Panel debate on “How to go international?”

A panel debate on “How to go international”, moderated by ECHAlliance’s Adriana Díaz, closed the event. Jovan Pavićević, International Markets Director, Better, Àuria Albacete, Senior Innovation Project Leader, BIOCAT, Gisela Garcia-Alvarez, Managing Director, Cluster Saúde de Galicia and Jonathan Gómez-Raja, Chief Scientific Officer, FundeSalud, inspired the audience by sharing their experience in successfully going international, either through EU projects, international programs for start-ups or learning expeditions.

Thanks to the collaboration of the Chamber of Commerce of A Coruña and the Galician Health Cluster, CSG, A Coruña hosted last Tuesday, July 11th, the X edition of EXPORPYMES, an event that attracted more than twenty companies from both Galicia and other countries to create synergies, strengthen ties and promote greater internationalization of the Galician business base.

The event, hosted between 9:30 a.m. and 14:00 p.m., was organized in the PALEXCO environment, turning it into an agora for debate, exchange of knowledge, and promotion of Galician products with the aim of strengthening relations between all the participants.

The role of the Galician Health Cluster, CSG

For the second consecutive year, the CSG collaborated in the organization of said meeting to present the value of the Galician health industry, but also to contextualize the advances in technological innovation that it has achieved in recent years. For this, two dynamics were carried out throughout the morning:

• CSG Connect, where the attending entities could present themselves through three key questions: the entity they represent, their differentiating value and what they are looking for from the Galician/international health ecosystem of EXPORPYMES 2023.
• 1:1 meetings, with the aim of promoting active dialogue and generating synergies between companies.

In summary, the event was a success in giving voice to each of the participating companies, expanding their network of contacts and generating collaborations for future projects. EXPORPYMES is confirmed as an international reference event, but it is not the only one.

Thanks to the collaboration of the Chamber of Commerce of A Coruña and the Galician Health Cluster, CSG, A Coruña will host tomorrow, July 11th, the X edition of EXPORPYMES, an event that will attract more than twenty companies from both Galicia and other countries to create synergies, strengthen ties and promote greater internationalization of the Galician business base.

Thus, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the PALEXCO environment will become an agora for debate, exchange of knowledge, and promotion of Galician products, with the aim of strengthening relations between all participants. In addition, the Galician Health Cluster, CSG, intervenes for the second consecutive edition to present the value of the Galician health industry, but also to contextualize the advances in technological innovation that it has achieved in recent years.

After the official inauguration by the authorities, which will be at 9:30 a.m., EXPORPYMES 2023 will kick off with joint networking sessions (10:00 a.m.), applying the methodology CSG Connect where companies must present themselves through three key questions: the entity they represent, the differentiating value of the entity and explain what they are looking for from the Galician or international health ecosystem of EXPORPYMES 2023.

Subsequently, different 1:1 meetings will be organized (12:30 p.m.) so that the participating companies can explain what they are looking for from the Galician health ecosystem, gathering their needs and the activity potential of the Galician business base in their territory. The closing of the day will be around 2:00 p.m., with a second round of informal contacts in the café for networking.

#RIES is the international reference forum at a national and international level to address the challenges and opportunities of the health ecosystem. Led by the Galician Health Cluster, CSG, it has been created as a meeting forum between the main agents of the public and private health and socio-health sectors at a European level in collaboration with our strategic partners of the #CSG_Community

For the second consecutive year, and in order to promote the international projection of the projects developed in our ecosystem and the collaboration of SMEs at a national and international level, the CSG collaborates with the Chamber of Commerce of A Coruña in this internationalization action EXPORPYMES (07/11 – A Coruña). This makes Galicia the epicenter of innovative projects in the health industry globally.

EXPORPYMES is part of the International Promotion Program co-financed by the FEDER, the City Council of A Coruña, the Diputación de A Coruña and the Xunta de Galicia through the Consellería do Mar and IGAPE.
